RightMarch.com is a conservative organization dedicated to
giving hundreds of thousands of hardworking, patriotic Americans
across the country a strong collective voice in the political
process. Our goal is to counter the well-financed antics of radical
left-wing groups like MoveOn.org, by appealing to the grassroots
"silent majority" to take action -- contacting government and
business leaders; placing newspaper, radio and television ads; and
holding the Left accountable for their anti-American antics.
The Sam Adams Alliance was formed to connect and support
citizen leaders who are working to expand liberty and hold the
government accountable starting at the state and local level.
Veterans Organizations
"America Supports You," a nationwide program launched by the
Department of Defense, recognizes citizens' support for our
military men and women and communicates that support to members of
our Armed Forces at home and abroad.
"We exist to help those who cannot help themselves." Founded
April 14, 1942, the American Ex-Prisoners of War organization is a
national organization for American citizens who were captured by
the enemy. Membership is open to all former prisoners of war from
any theater in any war, all former civilian internees and to the
families of such persons. At the present time, the American
Ex-Prisoners of War has over 300 Chapters and State Departments,
representing over 27,000 members.
The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a
patriotic, mutual-help, war-time veterans organization. A
community-service organization which now numbers nearly 3 million
members -- men and women -- in nearly 15,000 American Legion Posts
worldwide.
As one of America's foremost veterans service organizations,
AMVETS has a proud history of assisting veterans and sponsoring
numerous programs that serve our country and its citizens.
On August 5, 1958 President Dwight Eisenhower signed
legislation sent to him by Congress chartering the Congressional
Medal of Honor Society.
With more than 1.2 million members, Disabled American Veterans
is an organization of disabled veterans who are focused on building
better lives for disabled veterans and their families. The DAV was
formed as our country faced the painful effects of World War I.
Throughout our 85-year history, DAV has grown and adapted to face
the needs of disabled veterans. As a new generation of wartime
disabled veterans return from the battlefields of Iraq and
Afghanistan, the DAV is working hard to ensure all veterans are
cared for well into the future.
The Veterans History Project relies on volunteers to collect
and preserve stories of wartime service. The United States Congress
created the Veterans History Project in 2000.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, with its
Auxiliaries, includes 2.4 million members in approximately 9,000
Posts worldwide. Its mission is to "honor the dead by helping the
living" through veterans' service, community service, national
security and a strong national defense.
